First of all I think every wedding day should start with picking blackberries on the portrait venue. Everything is just so much better with a little berry high in your stomach.
If you are a bride & plan out your wedding, I highly recommend you include it on the list of your morning activities. 😉
This Saturday we had a wonderful local wedding & since my assistant is currently vacationing in the far north of Europe, I asked my dear friend Mau to give me a helping hand. It was great to have her to test light, joke around with & knowing that her helping beautiful self was always close by.
Our favourite highlights from this weekend were a dreamy garden lit with candles & torches at sunset and an half Italian gastronomer team. Because our hearts just melt when we see the waiters joking with the kids & being kind and wonderful to all the guests. Oh hello south of Italia, I have missed you! Mau was secretly mouthing ba-babi-ba-dubo as we caught the first Italian word. And then there would be a greenhouse as a location with an impeccable selection of rare and wonderful plants. (all affirmed by Mau who studied biology.)
Not enough with the fun facts of this day. We were done shooting earlier than usual & this way able to join our little garden & goodbye party at home. One of my roomies will be abroad for one semester. What is up with the hight north, people? We picked some more blackberries on the way home & as we arrived an alien situation unfolded before our eyes. Little groups of friends were sprinkled across the garden, while a group of guys was down by the campfire watching & filming an old washing machine! After casually enquiring (imagine deep cool voice)Â about the situation, I found out, that they had the spinning circle on and were trowing bricks in the open washing machine in hope it might explode. I mean, Â hey, I kinda always guessed that a Saturday night without an attempt to make your washing machine explode in the garden was boring, but now I knew for sure.
Thanks Mau for being part of this!
And this is how excited I am about bus stop signs in the middle of a perfectly good classical castle view.
