The first good thing I remember about these two lovebirds is that the client meeting was so long that time did not matter anymore. The cappuccino was long empty and still there were stories to be shared. I love that. We sat on a cold winters day & he, with sparkling eyes peaking to his fiancé, told how long he hid the ring during their vacation and how close she was to discovering it. And then how they met and how they dreamed up their wedding day in the most perfect way of summer relax.
And as this day finally marched into my calendar I walked into the church garden on a soft summer day. The cutest Mamma greeted me with an expectant smile. You must be Rici! I saw your photography trolly & I am so glad you are here!
Just minutes later there came a guest with arms wide open greeting me with words from a wedding almost a year ago. If by any chance I would remember him? He had recommended me form their common friends & was about to run into church to surprise the couple during their ceremony. You see, this wedding had the coolest priest there is. He had four of the grooms friends volunteer as altar “boys” and believe me, they had all the laughter on their side.
Dear Verena & Flo, you are so very special! Thank you again & again for asking me along on this wonderful wedding day of yours. You are the reason I so passionately love what I do. When I get to see you in the midst of your loved ones (and obviously all good-looking friends) and sneak you away for the sunset and share little and big moments.
Kill me now! Cutest chap on the party.
This little lady had me all wishin´for a blue striped dress!
You two are so beautiful together!
Sneaking out for the sunset is one of my very favourite things EVER!!
Here is a very special thank you ! to their dear friend & DJ of the night, who recommended me from a wedding I shot last year in Franconia!
