We were just about to round up our little getaway with a final slice of cake in Strasbourg. Both my Dad and I had strategically chosen the window seats to get the best of people watching in Strasbourg. We like to just sit and have a look. Then I spotted a familiar looking head, but wait,… no way. Looking again I saw more & soon a second face peaking into the storefront. It was indeed Amy & Jordan. OH gosh, I was completely freaking out! Storming outside I momentarily might have overwhelmed these two sweethearts with joy! hihi.
Here is what happened: since a couple of weeks I started reading their newsletter because, everybody was raving on about this incredible team of kind souls. Amy & Jordan are among the smartest photography leaders in the States. I have watched their friendship with Justin&Mary from afar & adored their vow renewals from Katelyn James in France & decided I need to find out more thus subscribed to their newsletter. Such a treasure.
Before I set out on our weekend getaway I had seen Amy & Jordan shooting an Eiffel tower proposal & hiding out in Paris. It might have crossed my mind how cool it would be to meet, but I had not even written a mail yet. So what are the odds!? Right!
To be honest I was a bit creepy. I told them how I have seen them, their shootings & even their outfits without them knowing anything about me.
But oh, such joy!
Gah, how glad am I that Dad now knows how the focus of the 35m works! You totally nailed the images! 😉
It was truly one special surprise moment. SOOO grateful of having run into you! Thanks for the chat Amy & Jordan! You are so sweet in real life! Let´s do it properly next time, with a city tour and a café. I would love to meet you again next time you are around. 😉 Have safe travels & a splendid week.
