oh boy, I cannot believe that the last year swooshed past in the pace it did! What a year! I started a business in the middle of a global pandemic. Is this nuts? I think so. At least a bit. But what else would I be waiting for? It seemed like an enormous leap at times. And yes, I need to get used to handling every single little thing by myself. I always enjoyed working in a team. I think teams are better than solo. Standing on the brink of opening my business my physical therapist pointed something out to me, which changed my perspective on this drastically. He said, Rici, every single person you photograph is in your team. Your wedding couples, they are in your team, your families, they are in your team, your models, they are in your team, your business clients, they are in your team. Your team has shifted. You are still a team player.
I love this so much! My team has grown and evolved and yes, it looks a bit different every single week.
However, some things have not changed since I redirected my passion and the name of the business which now carries my own.
Light-passion, has not changed.
Aesthetic cravings – have not changed.
Giggles – have not changed.
Movie quotes – have not changed.
So here, my friend is to a new glorious, adventurous, exciting, marvelous, light drenched, music filled and sunrise covered new year. A year of a big La Rici team, a year of growing forward and taking on new challenges, of seeking joy beyond the storm and beauty in the every day.
