A very merry Christmas to all of you!

At the beginning of the year I realised that I had not once in the last four years celebrated my own business. Most of the time I did not feel like celebrating because underneath was always the lurking fear of who knows how long it will last… I had started my wedding related business in the middle of Covid, I had no capital to set up anything and one year in a suitcase of mine got stolen with laptop and camera inside. If I have mostly been pretty quiet about how it was going it was more out of fear of needing to close down soon than of being too busy.
Having decided to move half way across Germany still feels like a huge and risky move. Moving for love is easy, moving a business relying on referrals not so much.
In January of 2025 during my morning devotional time I had the feeling that God was nudging me to celebrate this milestone anyways. And what do you know, this year, just like many of its kind before, past in the glimpse of an eye and here we are. In October I told Anthony I better celebrate soon, otherwise I will not make it this year.
This is why I finally decided to set the table. spread the linen. buy the flowers and invite a couple of dear ones over to our house.
For the last November Sunday I decided to push aside the struggle and open the Champagne. Here is to friends and loved one. To colleagues and mentors. To wonderful people close by and (always) too far away. La Rici Photography would be nothing without you!
I am tremendously grateful for all of you.
