I remember following the winding road through the black forest on that wedding morning, with the sky looking kinda grim and hoping that the weather would hold till all guests were indoors. Finding my way to the groom and best man we discussed the options for all weathers and set out for the first look in the park. I could not have wished for a more fitting backdrop for Melinda & Matthias’ first encounter on their wonderful wedding day. It was all emotions and no rain. And that was only the first time I got a glimpse of the tenderness they shared. I loved their attention to family members and the many family hugs I caught in the quiet moments in between.
It was also the first time I got to shoot at the most epic church with ruins stemming back to the twelfth century. What a majestic backdrop!! And then we drove to the castle Eberstein for an intimate family celebration up on the hill overlooking the vineyard. It was like all wedding goodness rolled into one. Find some of my total favourite vineyard sunset images ever below!!
Thank you, you two for your trust and warmth and kindness! It was a joy to take your wedding images! All the best for your journey together!
