It was a Sunday and she was riding her bike next to me after church steering to a thai restaurant, and somehow the conversation turned to hobbies. I do not know if I should start a new hobby, because I have already turned twenty-one. She said.

I wanted to get off my bike and shake her good!! And then I have heard the grandpa equivalent to this, I do not know if I should start this, I am too old…

      we all do this…

      we find excuses…

      I don´t know if I can do this, I am too…

(fill in your own baby or grandpa version)

      haven´t we?

      You know what?

There are a limited number of days to your life
      and those are precious!

If you have a hint of an idea swirling in your mind, just get off that chair and do it! If you want to dance more, put some music on and start. Just do the first tab and the next will follow.

You are made for what you can dream up. You are unique and skilled and precious! And frankly we all have the same time in the day and this time you are holding, is yours! You can change your life and start over. If I can, so can you!

I believe that those dreams you have? You have them for a reason! You have a purpose to your life! If others have made it, so can you! And you will. You are not alone on this.

And if you have never seen anybody else reach for what you dream about, you can be the first!

You can, you can, you can!

Stop listening to you own excuses and start filling the words in your own mind with what you can do.

Have a lovely new week, shine on friend!!

PS, if you found this post inspiring, go ahead and share it with somebody!

There is such truth to your words. Fear of failing can keep us from even trying. Encouragement is powerful…so let’s all keep encouraging one another.
