This phone call certainly ranks among my favourites of 2018, as my friend and former assistant professor Andrea invited me to shoot the final event for the year at Hertie Innovationskolleg in Berlin. For the event which was divided in talks, break out sessions and meet-and-greet they have booked the co-working space Ahoy in Berlin´s Brunnenviertel. This might be the coolest place I have done business portraits in ever!! We had a swift round of group pictures and lots of single portraits for all the fellows of this year and the next. After this the fellows presented their projects in short TED like talks. I was deeply impressed by the various ideas presented and smiling the whole time to for the sheer beauty of being able to witness all of this first hand. It was an immense pleasure to meet all these brilliant, innovate and creative change makers.
A big thank you to all of you!! And of course a special shout out to Andrea! You are one of a kind and always a joy to be around!
